How we write news

GoCredit news is written from official documents, by AI, and checked against those documents before it goes live.

We start from an official document

A story is only written if we can find the official document behind it: an RBI circular or press release, a SEBI circular, a PIB release, or a notice from the Income Tax Department, EPFO, NPCI, UIDAI, IRDAI, PFRDA or another government body. If there is no such document, we don’t write the story. News reports may tell us that something happened, but we never use them as the source.

AI writes it, from that document only

The explainer is written by an AI model that is given only the official document. It is told to explain the change in plain words: who it affects, what it means, and what you can do.

Every figure is checked automatically

Before anything is published, software checks it. Every number, date and percentage must appear in the official document. No sentence may be copied from it. It must not repeat an article we have already published. A second AI check confirms the piece gives readers something the document itself doesn’t, and that it doesn’t give advice the document doesn’t support. A piece that fails is rewritten or dropped.

Worked examples are calculated, not written

Where a rupee example helps, such as how an interest-rate change moves an EMI, GoCredit’s code calculates it from rates stated in the document. The loan or deposit amount in an example is illustrative and labelled as such.

We link the source

Every piece links the official document it was written from, with its title and date, so you can read the original.

We publish a few pieces, not a feed

We publish at most three news pieces a day, and only on changes that matter to people borrowing, saving or paying tax in India.

Corrections

If something we published is wrong or out of date, email support@gocredit.money with the link and what needs fixing. We check it against the official source and correct or remove the piece.

What this is not

Our news is general information, not legal, tax or investment advice. For a decision about your own money, read the official document and, where needed, speak to a qualified adviser. GoCredit is not a lender; see our compliance page for how we work with lenders.
