Is Green Credit loan app safe?

Green Credit is not in RBI's list of lending apps, and names no lender we can find
Every genuine loan in India comes from a bank or an RBI-registered NBFC, and the app must name it. We could not find a lender behind Green Credit. Until you can see the lender's name in the app's About section and in your loan agreement, don't share your Aadhaar, PAN or contacts, and don't pay any fee.
The only app named Green Credit on Google Play in India is "GreenCredit - Credit Insights", listed by a developer in Indonesia (PT Mutiara Sapu Jagad). It calls itself a credit-insights app, names no Indian bank or NBFC, and its privacy policy says your data may be processed outside your country (checked 13 Oct 2026).
